Provision Analytics is pleased to announce the addition of Jennifer Williams, to its Strategic Advisory Group, which was formed in 2024 under Dr. Jennifer McEntire.
Founded in 2018, Provision has rapidly become a leading provider of cloud software that streamlines food safety, traceability, and risk management for operations throughout the food supply chain - from Mucci Farms to Lineage Logistics.
Consisting of food safety experts from across the industry, its Strategic Advisory Group ensures Provision has the most up-to-date information on regulatory changes, key buyer requirements, and operating realities, guiding the company's software development, professional service offerings, and go-to-market planning.
By adding Williams to the Strategic Advisory Group, Provision is able to apply industry-leading insights across the supply chain, making smart food safety more accessible.
Williams brings more than 25 years of practical experience to the group. She earned her reputation after holding key food safety leadership positions at Tyson Foods - the largest meat company in America based on revenue, processing volume, and market share. Williams led dozens of plant and laboratory sites and spearheaded industry-first programs in data analytics and risk scoring. After Tyson Foods, Williams became the Principal and Owner of JW Consulting, where she advises prominent global operations on food safety and quality management systems.
Williams earned a Masters in Food Science from Kansas State University and has guided industry development through numerous executive committees, including the North American Meat Institute, Beef Industry Food Safety Council, and other advisory programs under the USDA.
Joining Dr. Jennifer McEntire, Joan Rosen, Sharon Beals, Donna Lynn Browne, and Courtney Cox, Jennifer Williams has already begun her work for Provision's Strategic Advisory Group in 2025.
